Back to Martha's PlaceSousé Chronicles:

My name is Martha and I am a Sousé. It was difficult as a child to live with the strange genetic twist that created the Sousé bloodline and as an adult I have coped by becoming the biographer and genealogist for the family. Though obscure the lineage is quite ancient. Throughout history the Sousé genes have emerged in disparate populations. (see illustrations)

Researching the family has given purpose to my life. In this electronic forum I will provide some excerpts from my forthcoming treatise on the Sousés hoping it will flush new information and family photos from my readers. Please e-mail any Sousé trivia to mschram@webenet.net.

My husband's family has been traced back seven generations and has not yielded a known link to the Sousé line. The gene has obviously been recessive until his birth. The Sousé resemblance however is unmistakable.

This blonde beauty has surfaced over and over in connection with various verified Sousé descendants. It has been suggested that she is a groupie with an unhealthy fascination for the Sousé type. Her presence is always indicative of a nearby Sousé.

But wait! There's More!...

(...and more and more and more.)
